Catering notes

  • All cooked meal packets should bear QR Code with details of Name of unit, FSSAI license no., Veg./Non-veg item name, Grammage etc. and date of packing and Veg/N.Veg. Symbol as per FSSAI norm.
  • Pre-mix Tea/Coffee/Green Tea/Malt beverage should be served with Stirrer, disposable hard paper/corn starch cups, paper napkin & Hot Water in flask.
  • Only boneless chicken should be used in chicken dish preparation. Neck & wing portions of chicken should not be served.
  • The menu should be served on cyclic basis.
  • Service of Morning Tea/Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner to be done in acrylic trays (as per tray color to differentiate Veg./N. Veg.).
  • Service of Evening Snacks to be preferably done in Snacks Box with co-branding of Vande Bharat Train.
  • All the packaging materials including disposable items may be as per color scheme of Vande Bharat Express with co-branding of IRCTC and Licensee.
  • Tray mat with Bi-lingual Menu/QR code to be used.
  • For the passengers of Executive class, the services will be more personalized through high quality crockery, cutlery, napkin etc.
  • All food items should be individually packed & served in Coloured Teflon coated Aluminium Casseroles (60-70 micron)/ Corn Starch packaging material and Parathas should be packed/served in aluminium wrapper.
  • Malt beverages to be provided to Children instead of Tea/Coffee.
